Are you all ready for October 31?
It’s the one day of the year where adults and children can dress up and feed on processed sugar ( All the Almond Joys are mine by the way). It’s the time where kids get mad at the neighbor down the street for passing out mini boxes of raisins, and parents grab their kids’ bags to inspect every piece of candy to make sure nothing dangerous slipped in. It’s the one day of the year you’re suppose to have fun.
Halloween is almost here and that means it’s time to start planning when and where you’ll take the kids out trick-or-treating.
Each year, the folks at Zillow find out which cities are best for trick-or-treaters. According to Zillow, Zillow researchers calculate the Trick-or-Treat Index using four different variables.
- They look at the Zillow Home Value Index, which shows the value of homes in single family residences.
- They also look at local crime data,
- how close each house is to its neighbor,
- and the age of the residents who live there.
This data combined gives us the safest cities to trick or treat, where trick-or-treaters can get the best candy, in the least amount of time.
