I cannot believe Rayna James died. I kept waiting for a “dream sequence”, it didn’t come. I was shocked to see her death as tears kept flowing and flowing. Sad to see such a great love story die #Deyna. The show “Nashville” won’t be same without her.
“Nashville” premiered just three months after the kids and I moved to Nashville, and I have watched it since. I liked Rayna’s strong character and what she represented. RIP Rayna.
On the bright side, Rayna James and Deacon Claybourne from CMT’s “Nashville” will be in the Nashville Madame Tussauds when it opens this spring. The couple will be immortalized forever in wax outside a replica of the famous Bluebird Café within the incoming attraction. I can’t wait to check it out.
Rayna’s figure will be wearing an outfit donated from the show that she wore in season three while performing on “Good Morning America.” Deacon’s figure will be outfitted with his favorite Martin D-28 Marquis Sunburst guitar, a re-creation of his signature guitar pick and leather strap donning his name and clothes donated from the show.
Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research to recreate world-famous icons, to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.
Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Carrie Underwood, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Minnie Pearl, Johnny Cash, Keith Urban and Little Jimmy Dickens. More figures will be added to the bill within the coming weeks.

Tune in to CMT on Thursdays at 9/8c to catch the latest episodes of “Nashville.”
