Do you see this beautiful smile? Perfect white teeth which have never seen a cavity. She takes good care of those pearly whites, let me tell you. She brushes, flosses and gets her teeth checked by a dentist. Sometimes, however, she uses toothbrushes that are firm and irritate her gums. At her recent dental check up, her dentist recommended a softer, gentler toothbrush. This gave me the idea for a perfect Christmas present for her.
Philips Sonicare Essence removes up to 2X more plaque than a manual toothbrush. The unique dynamic cleaning action gently and effectively reaches deep between teeth and along the gumline. I love the terms “gently” and “effectively”. This is exactly what my daughter needs to keep her teeth and gums healthy.
I’ve always heard such good things about the Philips Sonicare toothbrush but I always thought I couldn’t afford one.
You can imagine how surprised I was when I saw this price tag at Walmart. This is totally affordable. I was so thrilled I picked up one for each of my children. Dental health is so important. To me this product is a great investment. Having healthy teeth and gums will save them so much money and pain in the long run.
Since my oldest daughter is going on a trip after Christmas, I decided to make a travel toothbrush holder for her. She travels often so I think she’ll appreciate this handy holder. It’s perfect for storing her new Sonicare toothbrush. No more wet plastic bags. Besides, this toothbrush holder is washable and reusable.
All you need is a hand towel, ribbon and thread.
I’ve seen several tutorials for the holders made with wash clothes. They seemed too small to hold an electric toothbrush so I decided to use a hand towel instead. This way I had a bit of extra fabric left to fold over the pockets. This is a great way to be sure that the toothbrush stays put and clean.
The first thing I did was add a decorative ribbon to the fold.
Next I created four pockets by sewing five straight lines (two on the outside, three on the inside
Next I added a ribbon that was long enough to tie around the towel when it’s rolled up. A quick stitch in the middle will do it.
I am excited to give these gifts to my daughter. I just hope she doesn’t see this blog post.
Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones! Is there someone special in your life who would love these gifts?
